Reentry Policy Council. The Report of the Re-Entry Policy Council, which was authored by the Council of State Governments and ten project partners, reflects the results of a series of meetings among 100 of the most respected workforce, health, housing, public safety, family, community, and victim experts in the country.

Prison University Project. The mission of the Prison University Project is to provide free, high quality, higher education to people incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison and throughout the California State Prison system; to create a national model for such programs; and to promote public support for prison education, training, and recovery programs.

Insight Prison Project . Working in partnership with San Quentin State Prison, Insight Prison Project (IPP) offers 18 unique programs that serve about 300 prisoners each week

National H.I.R.E. Network. Established by the Legal Action Center, the National Helping Individuals with criminal records Re-enter through Employment Network is both a national clearinghouse for information and an advocate for policy change. The goal of the National H.I.R.E. Network is to increase the number and quality of job opportunities available to people with criminal records by changing public policies, employment practices and public opinion. The National H.I.R.E. Network also provides training and technical assistance to agencies working to improve the employment prospects for people with criminal records.

Insight Garden Program.  For more than a decade, the Insight Garden Program has helped transform prisoners’ lives through connection to nature.
